ABOUT JASONIC BUILDERS MERCHANTS AND D.I.Y

Originally the company was set up by Johanna Brown and her late husband Mervyn who named the company after their two children.

One of them Nicola, still works in the business today.

Jasonic was set up to service the vibrant Merthyr Tydfil area which at the time had a large amount of building work being undertaken.

The company ethos remains the same today as it was then and is based on supplying good quality products at very competitive prices, supported by excellent service and reliability.

Jasonic Limited has grown considerably over the years. Staff retention has been excellent and the company has a supportive and ever expanding database of customers.

As a result it was decided to open a second depot in the Taffs Well area of Rhondda Cynon Taff.

Mark Godfrey, general manager of Jasonic comments “We have expanded the business over recent years and identified the A470 as an area to target. Fairfield Business Park was seen as an ideal location given its proximity to Junction 32”.

In May 2014 after a successful tender bid Jasonic were awarded the contract of Building Materials Supply Partner to Merthyr Valleys Homes.

To supply this contract Jasonic opened an additional depot within our Merthyr Industrial Estate operation and employed a number of staff from the local area to service Merthyr Valleys Homes requirements. Jasonic are supplying everything to the MVH Property Services Team and their external contractors from aggregates to plumbing to full re-wires.
